Kritika Kajla 

​

Kritika Kajla is a dedicated Ontario Certified Teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching Science, Mathematics, and English to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. She is committed to transforming students' academic lives through effective teaching strategies, individualized instruction, and a focus on building strong foundational skills.

 

Kritika holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Zoology from Panjab University, India, and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on Life Science and English. She has earned additional qualifications in Senior Science, Classroom Management, and e-Learning.

 

Known for her excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, Kritika works effectively with students of all abilities, ensuring they receive the support needed to excel academically. She fosters a positive classroom environment, maintains strong relationships with colleagues and parents, and encourages lifelong learning and strong study habits in all her students.

Jayson Ruth

 

Jayson Ruth is a versatile and forward-thinking teacher specializing in Geography, Science, Physics, and Mathematics, with a strong focus on e-learning, curriculum development, and special education. He integrates technology-enhanced learning and assistive educational software to create engaging, real-world learning experiences.

 

Jayson holds a Bachelor of Honours in Science with a specialization in Geography and Physics and a Bachelor of Education from Trent University. He has additional qualifications in Senior Mathematics, Special Education, and E-Learning and is an Ontario Certified Teacher.

 

His teaching experience spans in-person and virtual learning environments, including roles as an E-Learning Course Developer, Mathematics and Physics Instructor, and Geography Teacher at both public and private institutions. He has also served as an E-Learning Consultant, ensuring course materials are inclusive, equitable, and aligned with Ministry of Education standards.

 

Beyond the classroom, Jayson is a coach, mentor, and leader in STEM education, committed to fostering curiosity and confidence in his students.

Taylor Cavers

 

Taylor Cavers is a highly driven educator with extensive experience in Science, Mathematics, and Physics education, alongside a deep commitment to creating engaging, effective curricula. Currently a Course Developer and Lecturer, Taylor is dedicated to fostering intellectual curiosity through multimedia approaches and diverse instructional techniques that promote active learning.

 

With a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Mathematics, and Physics from McMaster University, Taylor is also pursuing a PhD in Particle Physics, showcasing a dedication to ongoing professional growth.

 

In addition to her academic career, Taylor has a rich history in music education, having served as an Assistant Choir Conductor for the Hamilton Children’s Choir and a Master Martial Arts Instructor, integrating leadership and discipline into all aspects of teaching.

 

Taylor's expertise in curriculum development, adaptive learning, and feedback analysis drives her commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all students, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills for academic and personal success.

Sarah Fields

 

Sarah Fields is a committed teacher with eight years of experience in secondary, post-secondary, and specialized learning environments. She is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to education through engaging instruction, individualized support, and innovative teaching strategies.

 

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology with minors in History and Philosophy from the University of Windsor, where she graduated with Distinction. Her diverse teaching experience includes roles as a College Instructor, Secondary Teacher, and Reading Intervention Specialist, supporting students with exceptionalities and diverse learning needs. She has also contributed to assistive technology training, community outreach, and epilepsy education.

 

With expertise in both online and in-person instruction, Sarah incorporates modern learning tools, curriculum development, and assessment strategies to enhance student success. Beyond teaching, she is an active community leader, musician, and advocate for inclusive education.

Liisa Novek

 

Liisa Novek is a passionate teacher with experience teaching both secondary and elementary students in Canada and internationally. She has taught in Toronto, Estonia, and Sweden, bringing a global perspective to her classrooms. Known for making learning engaging and inclusive, she fosters confidence, cultural awareness, and academic success in her students.

 

Liisa holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Strathclyde University in Scotland and a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from the University of Toronto. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher with expertise in English, ESL, History, Business, Digital Arts, and Special Needs Education.

 

Her extensive teaching experience includes leadership roles,such as Head of the English Department, as well as curriculum development for online learning.  She continues to inspire students with innovative teaching strategies and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Karie Scollick

 

Karie Scollick is a dedicated educator committed to student success  with experience instructing diverse learners in both in-person and virtual classrooms. She specializes in English, History, and Indigenous Studies, using engaging, multimodal strategies to foster critical thinking and inclusivity.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in History with a double minor in English and Classical Civilizations. She is a certified Ontario College of Teachers member with additional qualifications in Special Education, History, Indigenous Studies, Co-Operative Education, and Kindergarten.

 

Beyond the classroom, Karie has coached multiple sports teams, developed engaging curriculum, and supported students with exceptionalities. She is committed to creating dynamic, inclusive learning environments that inspire curiosity, confidence, and success in every student.
